Sarah never came to his door, he always came to hers. He was pretty sure that this was the first time she'd ever come around to his place even. Before he could even say hello to her, he realized why she was there. Digging into his pockets, he pulled out his mobile phone. He glanced at it, and then up at her sheepishly. "I... forgot to turn this on again, didn't I?" Sarah gave him a look. That was all it took to know that he had been right. "Sorry, sorry.." he mumbled, still looking sheepish and even backing up so that hopefully he wouldn't get hit. "I meant to leave it on, it was just that the battery ran down and I put it on the charger and never turned it back on once it was done." "Save the excuses Josh, this is important.." Which it had to be since she was all the way over here. He turned on the mobile and stuck it back in his pocket "Right then, what are we up to today? Corporate espionage? International terror plots to foil? Please no back endwards town in the middle of nowhere." that was all he needed. He hated those towns more then anything. It was creepy, and usually ended in almost death for the both of them. In an odd way, it made him miss Nat just a bit more. "Actually.. it's Luke, I was wondering if you'd pick him up after school, I've got some things to do.." Josh kind of gaped at her, "You came all the way around here to ask me to pick Luke up while you're off doing all the fun stuff?" he was about to sulk really. "Please?" it was obvious she didn't like saying the word much. "All right all right," he relented. It was SJ of course he would do what she asked. "As long as when you're done, you properly explain what's going on and then we can get the bottom of this together." Finally after all these years, he was able to make his own demands. Writing Sample: Trapper had awoken that bright, early morning to find himself sprawled out in the middle of someone's front lawn, his head throbbing. His left hand still clung to one empty beer can, though he lightly hurled it away from himself as he gained consciousness. He sat up with a groan, rubbing sleep from his eyes. How had he wandered all the way here? ...Oh, yeah. The mailbox they'd come frightfully close to blowing up was no more than two blocks from his current location. Remembering that, he started making his way there, knowing the school itself was only a few more blocks past that. Trapper had gone all out, blowing most of what money he had left from his parents on fireworks. Some of them he'd bought ahead of time, two or three of the big packages of assorted toys, stowing them away under his bed until the day rolled around. Some of them he'd purchased that day; mostly bottle rockets for wars. Luckily, thanks to Hawkeye and the still he'd already bottled enough gin, but between the group that had gathered, there was enough liquor between them to get a small elephant plastered. But instead of heading back to his dorm, Trapper instead chose to rid his hangover effectively by drinking more. Not enough to see him stumbling, but enough to calm the dull roar in his head. And when he'd discovered that he still had a few bottle rockets left over, he immediately set out on pranking anyone he felt he could get a good scare out of. It was tricky work, placing the rockets at a safe-enough distance for the reaction he was looking for. He set one near a boy who practically dwarfed him in size, and when the rocket went off and the boy went flying from his spot on the bench, Trapper burst into laughter. "SHIT YOU A BRICK, DIDNTCHA?" He whooped, wagging a finger at the boy - and then turning and taking off when said boy began approaching him. He hurried into Melpomene. Well, he wasn't going to set off fireworks in here, certainly not, but Trapper was in luck: he had a small bag of snappers. Not entirely "with a bang", but enough of one. He really hated his phone at times, especially when it wakes him up at three in the morning when he had just gotten to sleep after Walter stopped counting. He noticed yet again Walter used the wrong toothbrush and he really didn't want to know on what. He splashed cold water on his face then and headed out with Walter to meet up with Olivia. Olivia Dunham was probably the only thing that Peter looked forward to. He couldn't deny he was attracted to the woman. Looking passed the fact she knew more about him then he knew about her, damn FBI. He also knew he couldn't approach her, at least not yet. She'd been through enough, but he could be there for her. He could also enjoy the little bit of flirting that went on between them. When they got there Peter already knew today was going to be a bad day. Blood everywhere, people were so pressed together and limp. Pressure of a plummetting elevator can shatter bones. He looked to Olivia then who just gave him a small smile and went back to work.
