Christopher Eccleston (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, "Doctor Who") will play John Lennon in BBC Four's upcoming "Naked Lennon," reports Variety.

The film highlights the years from 1967 to 1971 when the Beatle was ending his first marriage to Cynthia as Yoko Ono entered his life, coping with the death of manager Brian Epstein and the group's own messy and acrimonious disintegration.

Naoko Mori ("Torchwood") will play Ono and Rory Kinnear has been cast as Epstein. Other cast members include Claudie Blakley as Cynthia Lennon and Andrew Scott as Paul McCartney.

"Lennon Naked" was written by Robert Jones, the co-creator of BBC TV drama "Party Animals."

Anyway! Thanksgiving was pretty awesome, but the best part was actually the day after. Bunch of us from the boarding house actually got our asses up before the ass crack of dawn and hit the sales. None of us came away with any of the really good stuff, but I managed to knock out like all of my Christmas shopping already. Well, save for Astrid, Frankie, Luke, and Aidan. But everybody else, your stuff is currently sitting in my closet. Try touching it and I'll kill you dead.

It's a good thing I don't sleep very much and never have -- got that from my father -- because between school and parenting, there's far too little time for sleep. Rufus seems to share this opinion at the moment, since he's currently crashed on the living room couch at the moment -- and he barely managed to get that far after he shambled in the door with a distinctly exhausted look on his face. He'll be up soon, though, and then I think we're an extremely late dinner. What? He's a musician. Musicians keep weird hours.

Until then, I'm going to be looking at my daughter and laughing my head off. Her skin's pink. And not that pink that you get when you're healthy and there's good blood flow and all that. No, this is crayon pink. I'm probably a bad mother for finding it so amusing, but oh well. Need to actually get that fixed, though, since the amusement factor's going to wear off and she's just about old enough to notice when people are staring at her. And she's a gentle kid, so that staring is going to make her feel bad. Can't have that.

So this means I need to contact the girls at the university that offered to fix this.

Got thrown out of Best Buy today. Because of Slimer. He of course doesn't think it's a bad thing because he got a free DVD - or I should say, he stole it and can go to JAIL. A ghost getting locked up, impossible I know, but HE doesn't know that.

And really, he grabbed The Monkees complete dvd collection... The Monkees. It couldn't have been something I even remotely enjoyed. So now, Davy Jones' voice is going to haunt me in my sleep tonight. And possibly the rest of my life as I've heard "Hey, Hey We're the Monkees" over 12 times now..

I never thought I'd say this, but I would actually rather live with Egon and deal with his spores and fungus projects.

If anyone needs me I'll be in my other office (the one I'm not supposed to talk about) getting sleep.

I'm definitely going to be making an appearance at Selphie's Thanksgiving get together. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm guessing after that whole vision event, we could use something fun, yeah?

Kind of surprised that the semester's almost over. I'm not sure what I'm going to do over break, though. I'll probably see if I can get some extra hours and relax before the spring semester.

Oh, uh, Finn? I was going through some of the papers I still had in the storage compartment of my skimmer? I found your proposal to genetically alter pies to grow legs. I think I was suppose to present it to someone? Or was I suppose to send it to someone? I don't remember, but I have a feeling that, even here, pies cannot be altered to grow legs. No matter the argument, I don't think it can be done, dude.

I almost fell on Digby when I passed out. And as troubling and horrifying as that event would have been I think the fact that what I saw was everything I wanted to do and hoped to do - and I did it just not... really. Though having seen it and watched myself do it and have objects from said event should make it real, doesn't it? I think I've possibly thought too much into this as thinking about that made me think about what was really real and what I think is real and if by thinking it's real makes it real but only to me because I'm the one thinking it real. Okay, I've clearly thought about it too much.

But. (And I know that's a horrible grammatical error but it was to make a point seeing as typing over a computer you can't really put in the pauses and your mind jumps to conclusions on what my voice sounds like and how I talk. And for the record I do ramble quickly like that.) It's comforting to know that I can sleep easy tonight that none of those secrets, or the gossip column thing, deal with my life. Not that I think I'm significant enough to have expectations that they should. I thought about posting one but the fact that it'd be ungratifying to anyone but myself made me wonder if I should spend the time. Then I realized I felt compelled to put on a record and type.

I honestly could have gone the rest of my life without a laptop.

Another employee or two for the holiday season would be appreciated - I need to remind myself in the morning to put the help wanted sign out on one of the windows.

Well the anonymous posting is interesting and makes me somewhat paranoid but -- I like it.

We had a birthday for Sid earlier this week. He's like a kid, it's adorable. (And I recently found out their lifespan in captivity is up to 26 years.. haven't mentioned it to Gray yet, kind of makes me wonder how many mornings he'll be able to stand me opening Sid's cage and letting the little guy wake him up.) Though taking care of Sid and Gray, is a handful sometimes. Oh! And we found out he loves being tickled. Sid, not Gray - I actually don't know if Gray is generally ticklish... I think this might be a bad thing that I'm not sure. But I'll definitely work on solving that mystery. In the meantime, here's Sid:

Also I'm thinking of dying my hair. I don't know yet, but maybe brunette? I can always do the temporary kind and change it back if I don't like it? Hmm.
